Service is the worst I've experienced in Chicago for years. The fact that checkin is after 5pm and checkout - before 10am which leaves you paying for exactly one night, not even half day at the place - something tourists are aware of about this place. But reception on 19th is never there, they leave the phone number on their desk and never respond on it when you call. There is no phone on their desk to use for the call so you just call from the international number and never successfully (even receptionist from this building who tried to help - never could reach Pittsfield apartments by phone). Room is small with very loud refrigerator so you need to choose between sleep at night and using fridge for fresh products. View from the windows is absent - most windows just face the wall. But again, customer service is so low that you would not stay there for free even. As for the 50$ "voucher" - they did not give it, only after phone 30 mins conversations (again, because a real person is never there) - they sent it to me by e-mail, when I left the country. Not a single apology from the place, they got used to get away with this attitude.
Location is the only good thing I can tell about this place.
Check in instructions were rubbish. The cafe didn't have anything I asked for including croque monsieur or hot chocolate.
Shared living space. Faded grandeur of entrance hall. Lovely baguettes from the cafe.
Great location, on your own if you need something
Elevators are slow, check in is no longer in the lobby but on floor 19 and not staffed throughout the day. Had an issue with the key but luckily maintenance was able to assist.

It’s older building but perfect location Stuff doing their job and you get everything you need, really Plus , you are right near millennium park and Michigan Avenue at the corner.. we are definitely will stay again .. yes, it’s not Ritz Carrollton .. but I was happy we found this place ...
Photos dont match property. Clean enough to stay one night, but not value to visit again.
Stains on carpet, walls and sheets. Scuff marks all over walls, and cheap remodel. Need to maintain property better. Pictures do not represent all rooms, need to get better furniture to not overwhelm space. On day of checkout no one was at desk, even tho sign said it was open at 8am.
Location and lobby staff were fantastic.
The air conditioner didn’t work. The furniture was soiled and warm out.
The apartment was not very clean (better not to look under the bed!), it needs to be seriously refurbished.

Great location, run shower for 8-10 min and it actually works...
Overall the communication with the manager and the staff was less than helpful. For example, the shower took literally 10min to get hot (and then became scolding hot). We notified management about this and it took them a full day to look into it until in the end they just confirmed this (opening every tap on hot and sitting around for a while) was the way to solve the problem. This would have been manageable with a decent advance notice or sign. Similarly other questions requited running around between floors and even then the answers were typically curt and not always helpful. The building is clearly run down, which is sad as it has some elements showing past elegance. Finally, not decent receipt was provided, even upon emailed request - all I got was the checking smoking penalty acknowledgment piece.
The location was great and the in-unit kitchen was convenient to have. The wifi was fast and the window had a half-view of the lake, which was a bonus. Three bedrooms were good and the beds of acceptable hardness.

Fantastic location, in the centre of everything, walking distance from main sites; apartment very clean and fully equipped. Staff very helpful in finding everything we needed, and very kind. Beautiful building, atmospheric
When we arrived there was not hot water in the shower and this remained the same in the morning. Also the lights were not working in the master bedroom. Additionally, one of the side tables was broken.
The location was great and the morning and evening check in staff were both very friendly.
The towel is not to change everyday , and the room is not clean everyday. If family trip you need to keep clean by yourself.Even the trash. And if you have problem it’s always no one answer the phone only can use email.The check out counter in 19th floor always no body there. So if you have to or want to stay for one more night there is no one can help.
Near the Chicago attraction sights , such as The Beab Park ,Art museum and Trump building by walk . And easy to buy daily supplies. You can cook if you want . Near the famous deep dish pizza restaurant Giordano’s . Great location.
Good but disappointed about the reception
You are completely on your own and that is not convenient if you have a couple of suitcases. Taxi had to stop at the corner, reception desk is on the 19th floor, there is no luggage cart. I found this very inconvenient.
The room was clean and the location was super.
Dirty accommodations in a good location for parking and sightseeing. Will not use again.
Apartment was dirty in every aspect: Floors, walls, windows, beds, furniture, bathrooms, and kitchenette. Dirt stains, dust, grime, and grease stains. Honestly expected some age due the age of the building but this was unacceptable. We do not recommend staying there. Sorry.
